On Wednesday October 15, 2008 Flint
NIPP partnered with Michigan AFSCME Council 25 for a spaghetti
dinner fundraiser. The dinner was held from 4:00pm-7:00pm
at the Court St. United Methodist Church and all proceeds went
to support Flint NIPP's Senior Minor Home Repair Program.
The Senior Minor Home Repair Program is a new service Flint NIPP
offers to the Flint community where low income homeowners age 60
and older can have a qualified professional come to their homes
free of cost and complete minor home repairs they cannot perform
themselves. We would like to thank AFSCME Council 25 and Court
St. United Methodist Church for making this event possible.
